About Toronto Psychotherapy Space
It’s okay to be gentle with yourself.
“Being kind to yourself means learning to turn understanding, acceptance, and love inward.”
That’s the foundation of our work, and the heart of the space we’ve created.
Our clinic was built on the belief that therapy should feel warm, grounded, and human, never clinical or cold. That’s why our therapists bring both heart and expertise to every session, offering care that’s collaborative, down-to-earth, and always centred on you.
These are the values that guide everything we do:

Compassionate Care
We bring warmth and empathy to every session so you feel safe and truly understood.

Commitment to Growth
Healing takes time. We grow alongside our clients and stay current in our practice.

Integrity in Practice
You can count on us to be honest, ethical, and always in your corner.
At TPS Therapy, we believe that self-compassion is a building block for change. We’re here to help you find it.

Sarah Hurley
RP, MA, CCLS, CYC
Sarah Hurley is a Registered Psychotherapist, Certified Child Life Specialist, and Child and Youth Counsellor who brings over 17 years of experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families through life’s most tender and complex seasons.
She founded TPS Therapy with one goal in mind: to make mental health care feel cozy, accessible, and deeply human.
Before launching the clinic, Sarah worked for over ten years in the eating disorder day hospital program and mental health crisis unit at the Hospital for Sick Children. She has also supported diverse children and families through school-based and community mental health work. Her time living and teaching in Seoul, South Korea, further shaped her understanding of how culture and lived experience influence the therapy process.
Sarah blends attachment-based approaches like EFT, CBT, and DBT with mindfulness, art, and self-compassion. As a therapist, supervisor, and clinic leader, Sarah brings warmth, clarity, and deep care to everything she does. Her mission is to ensure every client at TPS feels safe, seen, and supported—no matter their background or goals for therapy.
The first step in your healing journey is often the hardest, but you don’t have to walk it alone. Therapy is not about fixing you—it’s about supporting you in discovering your strength, healing at your own pace, and creating the life you deserve.
