Anny is a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology who works with teenagers and adults navigating emotional, relational, and life challenges. She brings a calm, grounded presence to therapy and is known for helping clients feel understood, supported, and gently challenged in ways that foster meaningful growth.
Anny supports individuals experiencing anxiety, ADHD, depression, grief and loss, major life transitions, relationship difficulties, self-esteem and confidence concerns, stress and burnout, and trauma-related experiences. She understands how overwhelming it can feel to carry these struggles alone and works collaboratively with clients to help them reconnect with their strengths and move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.
Clients often describe Anny as approachable, compassionate, and thoughtfully direct. She creates a space that feels safe and steady, where clients do not need to have everything figured out and where progress happens at a pace that feels respectful and sustainable.
Anny believes therapy works best when it is collaborative, authentic, and grounded in a strong therapeutic relationship. Her approach balances emotional depth with practical support, helping clients develop insight while also gaining tools they can use outside of sessions.
She draws from a range of evidence-informed and trauma-informed approaches tailored to each person’s needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, mindfulness practices, and somatic awareness and body-based approaches. Sessions may focus on exploring patterns, processing past experiences, strengthening emotional regulation, or building coping strategies that support daily life, always guided by what feels most helpful for the client.
Anny has extensive experience working with youth and adults in both community-based and private practice settings, including individuals involved with the justice system. This background has shaped her non-judgmental, compassionate approach and her ability to work with complex emotions, identity exploration, and high-stress life circumstances.
As someone who immigrated to Canada and grew up navigating multiple cultural identities, Anny brings a lived understanding of cultural nuance, intergenerational dynamics, and the pressures of balancing different roles and expectations. She is especially attuned to how culture, family systems, and identity intersect with mental health, self-esteem, and relationships.
Anny’s goal is to help clients feel more grounded, capable, and connected to themselves, supporting them in building resilience, confidence, and a stronger sense of self as they navigate life’s challenges.
