Shannon works with adults and couples who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, and are looking for meaningful, lasting change.
Shannon is a Registered Psychotherapist who provides therapy for adults (18+) navigating anxiety, burnout, depression, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges. She offers in-person therapy in Toronto and virtual therapy across Ontario, supporting clients in developing a deeper understanding of themselves while building practical tools to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Her approach is collaborative, warm, and grounded in empathy. Shannon integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), while also drawing from attachment-based therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Sessions are flexible and tailored to what clients are actually going through, whether that includes conversation, practical tools, deeper reflection, or simply creating space to slow things down when life feels overwhelming.
Shannon works with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, low mood, and burnout, as well as those navigating grief, loss, and major life transitions. Many of the individuals and she works with feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of their next step, and are looking for a supportive space to make meaningful, lasting changes.
As a former teacher and athlete, Shannon understands how easy it can be to feel pressure to keep everything together while struggling internally. She offers a space where clients can step out of that pressure, better understand themselves, and begin to move forward in a way that feels more aligned and sustainable.
Shannon believes therapy should move at each client’s pace. She sees her role as helping clients better understand their experiences, develop practical coping strategies, and build a path forward that feels right for them.
She also recognizes that our challenges do not exist in isolation. They are shaped by our relationships, past experiences, and the environments we live in. Her approach focuses on understanding these connections with compassion, while helping clients build insight, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.
Shannon knows that reaching out for therapy can be one of the hardest steps, and also one of the most important. Whether clients are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or ready for change, therapy can be a space to reconnect and begin moving toward the life they want to build.
