Sarah Frutti

Sarah works with teenagers, adults, couples, and families. She is known for providing a safe, compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental approach to therapy where clients can freely express themselves, leading to new ways of thinking and a healthier mind.

My Story

Sarah has more than four years of experience working as a behavioural therapist, parent consultant and employment counsellor. Sarah has experience working in a variety of therapeutic settings including, inpatient hospitals, private clinics, employment counselling services, and schools.

 

She delivered treatment to a wide range of issues including, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities,

neuro developmental disabilities, behavioural disorders, traumatic brain injury, obsessive compulsive disorder, borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, depression, and anxiety.

 

Sarah pulls from the above experiences as well as from research, theory, and practice to enrich her work with her clients. Her approach is proactive and believes in the abilities of others and using their strengths to promote resilience and self-awareness of psychological forces that impact feelings, behaviour and emotions.

 

Sarah takes a psychodynamic approach utilizing a variety of modalities and expertise in a diverse range of specialty areas including: Family Systems, the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychoanalysis, Exposure Therapy and many more. She equips her clients with practical coping strategies so they can survive and thrive in their daily lives.
