Mona has extensive experience working with clients in hospital and community settings. Mona has worked with clients with a variety of needs including perinatal and maternal mental health, those experiencing intimate-partner violence, anxiety, depression, major life transitions, trauma and grief.
Mona's approach to practice strives to walk alongside clients in their healing journey. Mona meets clients where they are and employs different modalities accordingly. These include Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution/strength-based approach, and trauma-informed modalities.
Mona is also trained in crisis intervention and attachment-based therapy and holds specialized training working with individuals dealing with narcissistic abuse, unhealthy relationship dynamics, and intimate-partner violence.
Mona also has extensive experience working in perinatal and maternal mental health. She is also passionate about working with various populations such as adolescents, parents, and adults. Mona's experience also includes working with needs such as anxiety, depression, domestic violence, trauma, personal and adjustment issues.
